Bob attended law school in England and became an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1974 and a Fellow in 1978. As a lawyer in England, he practiced all aspects of litigation, both civil and criminal.

Bob immigrated to Canada in 1981 and joined a large national firm in Toronto where he acted for financial institutions in the area of fraud, security realization, collections and commercial litigation. He joined McCague Borlack's banking litigation practice unit in 1995.

In 2008, Bob was among the first group of individuals in Ontario to be licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Paralegal. As a licensed Paralegal, Bob is authorized to provide legal services in Ontario.

Bob brings over 30 years of banking, insolvency, commercial, and debtor/creditor law experience to McCague Borlack. He has represented individuals, companies and financial institutions including many Schedule I banks and multi-national lenders. In addition to maintaining his own practice, he acts as a facilitator to the legal process and assists senior counsel with more complex matters. His innovative approach is reflected in his design and implementation of an effective system for organizing and administering collection of debts and judgment enforcement.
