Karen practices a range of civil litigation with a particular interest in insurance defence, professional liability, fraud, cyber risk, and privacy law. Karen spent both her summer and articling terms with McCague Borlack and has obtained extensive court experience including appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Karen has a passion for problem-solving and uses her strong research and analysis skills to help clients prevent and resolve disputes. She has received praise for her skill at forming and drafting legal arguments.

During her studies at Osgoode Hall Law School, she excelled in moots and skills competitions, including winning second place in the prestigious national Gale Moot after making arguments before a sitting Supreme Court Justice and two Court of Appeals Justices. She has also acted as a mediator in disputes at the Toronto Small Claims Court and Private Information Court.

When not in the office, Karen enjoys travelling and experimenting with no-knead bread recipes.
