Amelia's civil litigation practice centres around Subrogation, Insurance Defense and Personal Injury matters. She has extensive subrogation experience involving various losses, including fraud, floods, fires, and product defects. On the Tort and Accident Benefits side, Amelia has handled motor vehicle accidents, occupier's liability, medical malpractice, and bullying in schools. Prior to working at MB, Amelia worked with a Plaintiff's firm. This experience on both sides gives her a unique perspective and set of skills to draw from.

Amelia has strong oral and written advocacy skills, significant courtroom exposure and the ability to negotiate well with other lawyers. This, along with Amelia's proactive approach when managing all aspects of a matter, and routinely checking in with clients on litigation strategy, enables her to achieve advantageous outcomes and settlements on their behalf.  Ameilia is also a Notary Public.
