A Focus on Insurance Defence
Profile:
Anita has a wide civil litigation practice, including insurance defence, employment law and subrogation. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Ontario and the Small Claims Court. She is a dedicated and pragmatic advocate and always strives to find the most efficient legal routes and options for her clients.
During law school, Anita's interests in advocacy and litigation flourished through her participation in multiple competitive moots in a diversity of areas including Family, Labour, and Contract law. In her final year of law school, she coached the Queen's Law moot team in the Walsh Family Law Moot, assisting the team in winning first place in all categories against 6 other Ontario law schools. Anita also achieved the highest standing in her Labour Law class in her final year.
In her spare time, Anita enjoys baking, practicing yoga, reading philosophy and spending time with her Persian cat, Ziba.
