Chelsea practices civil litigation with an emphasis on construction and commercial matters. While in law school, she clerked for several Family Law Justices and was both a factum author and oralist in a national Aboriginal Law moot. During an exchange at the University of New South Wales Faculty of Law in Sydney, Australia, Chelsea gained experience in international law.

Prior to joining McCague Borlack, Chelsea worked at several plaintiff-side personal injury firms, where she obtained litigation experience pertaining to various aspects of tort law, including motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability, and animal law actions. Therefore, already her breadth of experience provides her with unique insight and negotiation strategies in both the plaintiff and defence sides of a legal issue.

With a great interest in her community, Chelsea has participated in clinical placements, pro bono projects, academic mentorship, student publications, graduate test preparation, career advising, and she has also held executive positions for many student organizations.

Outside the office, Chelsea enjoys keeping her French fluency sharp, searching for the perfect wine & cheese pairings, and finding new minerals and fossils for her geology collection.
