Julie has over nine years of insurance defence experience, focusing primarily on Accident Benefits. Julie also has considerable experience in civil litigation, appellate and disciplinary hearings. Julie began clerking in 2006 while simultaneously attending Mohawk College's law clerk program part-time (and still obtained honours!)

Prior to joining McCague Borlack, Julie worked in small to mid-sized law firms in Hamilton and Toronto for 30+ years in a broad range of practices. She has been a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) since 2010.

Outside of legal, Julie enjoys volunteering at the Canadian Red Cross and spending time outdoors.
