Ryan Smith returns to McCague Borlack as an associate after summering and articling at the firm. He has experience in general commercial litigation pertaining to insurance defence, subrogation, accident benefits and employment law. He has acted for clients in both the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court.
Ryan is a resourceful advocate who uses keen attention to detail and strong communication skills to effectively represent clients, both in court and through other methods of alternative dispute resolution.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys playing basketball, skiing, travelling and cooking. Ryan is originally from Montreal, Quebec and also speaks French.
