A Focus in Construction, Environmental and Insurance Recovery Litigation
Profile:
Stephen has a broad civil litigation practice with extensive experience in breach of trust claims, commercial disputes, construction liens, construction and environmental liability claims, First Nations consultation rights in land development, insurance coverage, product liability, professional liability and subrogation.
Stephen has trial, appellate, and mediation experience, and has acted as counsel in matters before the Ontario Superior Court, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and various administrative tribunals.
Stephen is co-Chair of the firm’s Subrogation Practice Group and the Product Liability Practice Group. As such, Stephen oversees legal research projects and regularly conducts legal education seminars for clients and the insurance industry in the areas of subrogation and product liability.
