Zohaib’s broad litigation practice includes business litigation, construction law, shareholder and employment disputes, and subrogation and insurance defence. Zohaib also has an interest in immigration, and defamation and reputation management. Zohaib has skillfully represented large institutions, along with smaller groups and individuals. Zohaib especially enjoys the challenge of taking on the tough files.

One of Zohaib’s notable cases was when he defeated a Mareva injunction and a request for Certificate Pending Litigation, which, if granted, would have locked up over $2 million of his client’s assets.

Prior to MB, Zohaib served as a Legal Policy Advisor to Canada’s Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, where, amongst other things, he assisted the Canadian Government with preparing briefs on international trade disputes.

In his spare time, Zohaib likes to watch tennis, cheer for the Toronto Raptors, and tour the countryside on his motorcycle.
