Olivia graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. During her studies she was awarded the Sherrard Kuzz LLP Prize for achieving academic excellence in employment law. Prior to attending law school, Olivia graduated from York University with a Masters of Arts in Humanities. Before her Masters, Olivia graduated with first-class honours from the University of Surrey in the UK. ...more
Prior to attending law school, Olivia worked in the entertainment industry as an actor and as a casting assistant for an Emmy award-winning casting director. After her first year of law school, Olivia worked as a legal intern at one of Canada's most prominent production houses.
In her second year of law school, Olivia was selected as a legal writing leader. As a writing leader, she was able to enhance her legal writing skills and mentor other law students on how they can improve their writing techniques.
At law school, Olivia was an active member of the law school community. She was elected to the Common Law Student Society as the VP Advocacy. As well, Olivia also co-produced and stared in several law school musicals including "Mamma Mia!" and "Grease".
Outside of the office, Olivia enjoys keeping active, hiking and going to the gym. Olivia also loves travelling, she most recently traveled to South Korea.

Chelsea Dobrindt graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from Queen's University and also attended the University of New South Wales Faculty of Law on exchange in Sydney, Australia. Prior to entering law school, Chelsea graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, on the Dean's Honour Roll, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a specialization in Legal Studies. ...more
Chelsea's passion for litigation was ignited during her work with several plaintiff-side personal injury firms, where she gained experience with tort and accident benefit claims through preparing litigation materials for motor vehicle accident, occupier's liability, and small claims files, among others. Chelsea's work in these areas provided her with insight into the negotiation process between plaintiff and defence counsel. Chelsea is also interested in the areas of municipal, environmental, and family law.
Chelsea places great value on community involvement and advocacy, and has taken part in a diverse range of opportunities as a result. She has participated in mooting, clinical placements, pro bono projects, academic mentorship, student publications, graduate test preparation, career advising, and she has also held executive positions for many student organizations.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys practicing her French skills, painting, searching for the perfect wine & cheese pairings, and nature hikes.

Sarah Dodsworth graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa. During her studies, Sarah completed an exchange at the University of Geneva in Switzerland where she obtained a Certificate in Transnational Law. Sarah is the recipient of the Rita Marguerite Houle Prize and the Nelligan O’Brian Payne LLP Prize for the highest standing in the Trial Advocacy course. Prior to law school, Sarah graduated from McGill University with a Master of Social Work where she won the Alumni Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice. After her first year of law school, Sarah worked at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic as a caseworker for the Community Legal Education Division. In this role, Sarah developed and led workshops on a variety of legal topics including human rights, tenant rights and worker rights. The purpose of this work was to educate the community with the aim of promoting access to justice. Sarah continued this work in her second year as a Division Leader.
Sarah has been an active member of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, University of Ottawa Chapter during her time at law school. In her first year, Sarah organized a lobby conference which brought law students from across Canada to Ottawa. Students met with Members of Parliament to lobby for changes to Canada's refugee system. She was vice-chair of the Chapter in her second year.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking and playing soccer. She also enjoys cooking and has been teaching herself to make cheese.

She has been awarded the McDougal-Watson Memorial Award, and the Dan Soberman Award for her efforts with Queen's Legal Aid. Prior to law school, Jennifer graduated from University of Guelph on the Dean's Honour Roll, majoring in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, as well as Political Science.

Jennifer's interest in litigation was sparked in her first year of law school through her volunteering with Queen's Legal Aid. She went on to work with Queen's Legal Aid in the summer of 2018, working on various civil litigation matters. When she is not at work, Jennifer enjoys preparing home cooked meals, time with her family, friends, and pet cat named Phoebe.

While in law school, Sydney volunteered with the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board through Pro Bono Students Canada by drafting headnotes for significant decisions in complaint review matters. She coordinated and moderated mock negotiations and mediations while acting as a teaching assistant for the french first-year Dispute Resolution Practicum. While in school, Sydney also completed two legal internships, first at a family law firm and second at a boutique business law firm.
In her spare time, Sydney enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, enjoying live music, and laughing at her own jokes.

Adam Ostermeier is a graduate of the Dual J.D. Program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. Adam has grown his interest in advocacy and litigation through his participation in numerous moot court competitions in both Canada and the US, as well as through being a member of the Windsor Law Student Legal Society's Advocacy Committee. In addition to this, Adam obtained meaningful experience as a judicial extern for Judge Gershwin Drain of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in the summer following his first year of law school. Following this opportunity, Adam had the chance to return to the United States Federal Court the following winter as a member of the University of Detroit Mercy's Pro Se Clinic, helping guide self-represented litigants through the federal court system. In his final year of study, Adam received book awards in both Advanced Advocacy and the Federal Pro Se courses, and was a recipient of the Legacy of Excellence scholarship at the University of Detroit Mercy.
Outside of the office, Adam is an avid hockey player and golfer and was a member of both Windsor Law's Hockey Team and Golf Association. Adam prides himself on being a devoted Detroit Lions fan, and he enjoys travel and cooking.
