Ye's practice focuses on commercial and construction litigation, including partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, debtor/creditor disputes involving guarantees, fraudulent conveyances and injunctive relief, and construction lien matters. In addition, Ye has successfully represented both sides in intentional tort and negligence claims, including misrepresentation and defamation.

Straightforward and approachable, Ye prides himself on being open and forthright with his clients while ensuring that their interests are safeguarded. He combines legal knowledge with creativity, practicality and tenaciousness to meet their needs and earn their trust. Ye has advocated for clients before the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He is also fluent in Mandarin.

During law school, Ye volunteered as a Division Leader at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) and completed the Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Administration of Justice curriculum stream.

Away from the office, Ye enjoys reading the great classic of Taoism and spending time with his family and friends. He recently picked up weight exercises. While he may have gained mental strength from Taoism, he has a long way to go to swing a kettlebell professionally.
