Profile:
Winona has a broad civil litigation practice including professional liability, construction and commercial litigation disputes. She regularly appears before the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Ontario.
While in law school, Winona was heavily involved in Queen's Legal Aid representing low-income clients on a variety of issues such as criminal, small claims and landlord-tenant disputes. During her three years volunteering with QLA, she successfully argued cases in front of the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Criminal Injury Compensation Board.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, thrift shopping and binge-watching true crime shows.
