Asal is a zealous Litigator practicing in a wide range of areas, with a focus on insurance-related matters. Prior to joining McCague Borlack, Asal completed her Articles at a boutique personal injury law firm, where her practice was focused on motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, and product liability claims. With experience in both plaintiff and defence sides of the litigation process, Asal is able to provide valuable and comprehensive services to her clients.

While in law school, Asal was a Litigator at the Legal Assistance of Windsor clinic, where she represented clients before the Landlord and Tenant Board, as well as the Social Benefits Tribunal. Asal also worked on the Legal Triage team at the University of Windsor’s Entrepreneurship, Practice, and Innovation Clinic, where she was exposed to corporate commercial and IP law while assisting students and recent graduates in starting and growing their businesses.

Outside of the office, Asal enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her two-year-old husky, Astra!
