A Focus on Business Litigation and Defamation
Profile:
Zohaib’s broad civil litigation practice includes professional liability, shareholder and employment disputes, real estate litigation, subrogation, and defamation. With the experience he gained articling, he is well-prepared to represent large institutions, along with smaller groups, and individuals. Zohaib enjoys appearing in court representing the firm’s clients. He also has an interest in handling defamation claims, and employment issues involving the rapidly changing COVID-19 regulations.
In law school, he won awards for his written and oral advocacy in the Philip C. Jessup Public International Law Moot and advanced to the international rounds. He also served as a Legal Policy Intern to Canada’s Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, where, amongst other things, he assisted the Canadian Government with preparing briefs on international trade disputes.
In his spare time, Zohaib likes to watch tennis, cheer for the Toronto Raptors, and tour the countryside on motorcycle.
