Zlata is completing the Dual JD Program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy and has been on the Dean’s Honour Roll. With a passion for advocacy and litigation, Zlata has participated in moot court competitions across Canada and the United States. In addition to her academic pursuits, she serves as President of the club "Women and the Law" at the University of Windsor where she organizes initiatives to raise money for a scholarship fund to support women pursuing legal careers. To give back to her community, Zlata volunteers at both the Michigan Veterans Law Clinic & Windsor Community Legal Aid.
Before law school, Zlata earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During her undergrad, she established her own personal training business. This experience fueled her passion for making a difference in people’s lives, which ultimately inspired Zlata to pursue a career in law.
Zlata speaks fluent Russian and enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures including their food.
