Madeleine is entering the final year of her Juris Doctor degree at Queen's University. Prior to law school, Madeleine graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU). It was during her undergraduate studies that Madeleine discovered her love for oral advocacy – culminating in the Presidency of WLU's competitive moot team, competing in 8 competitions herself, and eventually winning the McGill Undergraduate Moot Competition in 2020. In 1L, she was a semi-finalist in the Queen's Law Labour and Employment Moot. In 2L, she was selected to be an oralist representing Queen's Law at the Arnup Cup and, as President of the Queen's Law Litigation Society, hosted and judged the annual 1L "Society Moot". In this upcoming year, Madeleine will be acting as the Student Representative on the Queen's Law Moot Court Committee, representing Queen's in their annual Grand Moot this September, and was selected as a student coach for the Arnup Cup.
During her 2L year, Madeleine was a student caseworker for the Queen's Prison Law Clinic, representing inmates at maximum-security penitentiaries. Madeleine's work involved representing inmates at institutional disciplinary court on various charges including assault, possession of contraband, and drug smuggling. Madeleine also provided written advocacy for inmates with healthcare and age-related needs, culminating in a formal "final-level grievance" filing to the National Headquarters of the Correctional Service of Canada. Madeleine's work also involved successfully representing one inmate at the Parole Board of Canada.
Outside of the law, Madeleine is an avid cinephile, and enjoys creative writing, and spending time with friends.

Rotem is earning her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, Rotem earned a Joint Honours in Communications and Political Science from the University of Ottawa. While an undergrad, she was involved in research regarding online antisemitism, and political bots. ...more
While in law school, Rotem was a Division Leader at the Community Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP). In this capacity, Rotem gained experience working in the Administrative Law Division representing and advocating for clients in Landlord/Tenant Board (LTB) and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) tribunals.
Rotem participated in four moots while in her first year of law school, as well as received a Certificate from the Winkler Institute Basics in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Currently, Rotem serves as an Executive on the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA), the Osgoode Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), and is the President of three different associations at Osgoode.
In her free time, Rotem enjoys cooking, travelling, and running.

Max is currently completing the Dual JD Program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. Prior to attending law school, Max graduated on the Dean's List from the International Relations program at Western University and taught English in Granda, Spain as an Auxiliar.
In his first two years of law school, Max competed in more than five moots, and participated as a coach, judge, or bailiff in several more. This sparked an interest in oral advocacy that led to a desire to work as a litigator. This was solidified during his work with the Veterans Law Clinic, where he assisted in oral and written advocacy on behalf of Veterans pursuing their rightfully earned benefits.
Outside of work, Max enjoys reading and writing on a nice patio, preferably with a good espresso and some olives.

Alan is currently a Dual J.D. student at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy. In law school, he participated in two moots and served as Vice-President of the Criminal Law Association of Windsor, Class Representative of the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Students' Law Society Merchandise Committee. Alan, along with making the Dean's List, received the Book Award for achieving the highest grade in Cross-Border Sales and Financial Transactions I, as well as Canadian and U.S. Professional Responsibility. ...more
Prior to law school, Alan obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from York University. Following that, he worked as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, determining liability concerning loss or damage to personal property.
As Project Lead for Pro Bono Students Canada, Alan aided vulnerable youth in obtaining identification documents to access services such as healthcare. As a Legal Intern at the Detroit Mercy Immigration Law Clinic, he interviewed clients and prepared their immigration relief packages. During his time with Southeastern Dispute Resolution Services, Alan gained valuable insight into Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) while mediating Small Claims and Landlord-Tenant Disputes.
Outside of work, Alan is big on food, fashion, travel, and basketball. He hopes the Raptors will soon again be at the top of the NBA.

Arjun is currently completing his JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, he has gained hands-on experience working in a high-traffic legal clinic in Downtown Detroit. This experience coupled with mooting developed Arjun's passion for advocacy and litigation. He has also volunteered for a Pro Bono Students Canada project where he focused on landlord/tenant disputes and disability benefit appeals. Prior to law school, Arjun completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo, where he was a teaching assistant for advanced Faculty of Science courses. He graduated from the program on the Dean's Honour List.
Outside of the office, you can find Arjun riding his bike in the countryside, enjoying a podcast, or supporting local Toronto sporting teams.

Naomi is currently pursuing her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, Naomi worked as a student caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services assisting clients with appeals to the Ontario Disability Support Program and Social Benefits Tribunal. Naomi also served as a Dean's Fellow for Legal Process 2 — Civil Procedure, where she provided academic support as well as mentorship to first-year students and led seminars on skill-building strategies specific to learning civil litigation. ...more
Prior to law school, Naomi completed her Bachelor of Arts at McGill University in International Development Studies with First Class Honours. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Norman Prentice Prize for her excellent academic record and distinguished contributions to the university.
During her free time, Naomi enjoys staying active through yoga, running, weight-lifting, and virtual Peloton classes. She looks forward to having future opportunities for travelling and exploring new cultures.

Chanpreet's interest in litigation and advocacy developed during his time as a Caseworker at Community Legal Services Clinic, where he represented clients on a variety of issues including small claims court matters, family and criminal law matters, and landlord/tenant disputes. Chanpreet followed his interest in advocacy by completing an 8-week summer program in litigation. In his second year of law school, Chanpreet worked as a Caseworker at Community & Legal Aid Services Program. In addition, Chanpreet worked as a Contributor on TheCourt.ca, an award-winning legal blog that publishes commentary on the latest Supreme Court of Canada decisions.
In his free time, Chanpreet enjoys hiking, reading, playing sports, and cheering for the Leafs.

Nick is currently completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. Prior to attending law school, Nick completed his Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Law at Carleton University. He graduated at the top of his class with High Distinction, receiving the Senate Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement due to his comprehensive legal research and writing abilities. ...more
Nick's interest in litigation developed while working for various criminal defence firms in the Ottawa area. He assisted clients with both simple and complex legal issues and often appeared for them in the Ontario Court of Justice. While in law school, Nick gave back to his community by volunteering with StreetSmart. There, he created an informative legal workshop to advise marginalized youth about the legal system and to encourage them to advocate for themselves.
In his free time, Nick enjoys playing soccer, golfing with plenty of mulligans, and spending time with family, friends and his active golden retriever, Callie.
