Ali recently completed his JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school Ali obtained hands-on experience by working at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) as an Immigration Division Leader. Within this role, he worked directly with clients in various stages. This experience gave him the opportunity to directly advocate for his clients and get familiar with various aspects of litigation. Ali also advocated for his fellow students by being the first Transfer Students Deans Fellow as well as a member of Osgoode Hall Law School’s Clinical Education Committee.

Prior to law school, Ali completed an Honors Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto double majoring in Criminology and Ethics, Society and Law. During his undergraduate degree., Ali was the inaugural Equity Director for Woodsworth College Students’ Association where he implemented inclusive policies for the college and advocated for a large student body.

Outside of the office, you can find Ali on the tennis court or enjoying a good book.
