Muskan is a Dual JD candidate at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, where she has been named on the Dean’s Honour Roll. With a strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution, she has gained practical experience through various moots and legal clinics on both sides of the border. As a student volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, she worked on housing and immigration-related matters. She also previously externed at the 18th District Court and supported self-represented litigants through the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic. These roles helped her build a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and litigation support.
Prior to law school, Muskan worked in real estate, where she managed high-volume pre-construction transactions and collaborated with clients, agents, and developers to navigate complex deals. Her background in sales gave her a strong foundation in negotiation, risk assessment, and client service – skills she now brings to her legal training and litigation work.
Outside of law, she founded a not-for-profit organization that provides educational opportunities, medical aid, and access to water and nutrition to children, youth, and families in Pakistan. She also enjoys painting, learning new languages, and travelling to explore different cultures.
