Claudia recently graduated from the English Common Law JD Program at the University of Ottawa. Excited by a career in litigation and advocacy, Claudia participated in several Law Moot competitions and completed a criminal law advocacy-based Student Proposed Internship during law school. She also enjoyed giving back to her school community, mentoring first-year students at the University of Ottawa through the Allies in Law Mentorship program and serving on the Common Law Student Society's Advocacy Committee. In her final year of law school, she attended Osgoode Hall Law School for a semester through the exchange program and broadened her educational journey. She also helped to host the University of Ottawa’s Law Classic, a charity hockey game that helped raise money for youth mental health.
Before law school, Claudia completed an Honors Specialization in Criminology at Western University. During her undergrad, she worked as a court reporter at the Ministry of the Attorney General. This experience allowed Claudia to gain a real glimpse into the intricacies of the legal field through the courtroom setting and inspired her to pursue a career in law.
Claudia loves cooking and looks forward to hosting her friends and family over for a great meal after work!
