Emily summered and articled at McCague Borlack and has returned as an associate to continue building her career in professional negligence, malpractice and healthcare litigation, construction law, and animal law. Emily completed her JD at Queen’s University in 2025. Prior to attending Queen’s, Emily completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, where she majored in English Literature and minored in History.

During her time as a law student, Emily worked as a student caseworker for the Queen's Family Law Clinic, was a member of the Queen’s First Generation Network, and was the Vice President Administrative in the Queen’s Law Students’ Society. These opportunities allowed Emily to strengthen her advocacy skills while also connecting with the Queen’s Law and Kingston community. 

In her spare time, Emily enjoys riding her horse, spending time with her dog, reading, and running.
